I believe in different ways of knowing, and I encourage people to tap into their ways of knowing to promote health and well being. I work from a holistic approach, and invite my individuals to bring their body, mind, and spirit into each session. I provide trauma-informed, queer-friendly, and fat-positive counselling. I use various counselling approaches, depending on the person’s needs. I am trained in the following modalities: cognitive behavioural therapy; cognitive processing therapy; mindfulness, narrative therapy; solution-focused; harm reduction; and anti-oppressive practices. My style is collaborate and creative, bringing the whole person (body, mind, and spirit) at the centre of any modality.

I believe that therapy is one of the many ways towards growth, awareness, and empowerment. It is a step towards tapping into your inner wisdom and allowing yourself to unfold into your authentic self. My role is to facilitate safer space for you, and use evidence-based therapeutic interventions that will address your needs
